Pauline S. of Witnesses to Hunger spoke with ABC News for a story on the rising rates of child poverty in the United States. According to a recent report published by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, 14.7 million children in this country live in households with incomes below the poverty line.

New report shows extremely high rates of food hardship among households with children

According to a report released today by the Food Research and Action Center (FRAC), nearly half of all households with children living in Pennsylvania's First Congressional District reported not having enough money to buy food in 2008-2010.  Across the state, one in 5 households with children experienced such food hardship.
