Witnesses To Hunger Honored by The College of Physicians of Philadelphia

On May 10, 2010 Witnesses to Hunger received the 2010 Public Health Leadership Award, in recognition for our accomplishments in raising awareness about the health impact that poverty and hunger has on women and children in Philadelphia and the United States. This award was presented in conjunction with the Annual Public Health Poster Session event held at The College of Physicians of Philadelphia, where graduate students from around Philadelphia showcased their research. Dr. Mariana Chilton the director of Witnesses To Hunger accepted the award, along with Witness to Hunger Tianna G.
